Product Descriptions

As all items are handmade, variations may occur. Freshwater Pearls, being natural, may vary in shape, size and colour. Measurements given are approximate and in the case of Freshwater pearls are an average. All efforts are made to represent colours as true to life as possible, but please note that colours may appear different on different monitors.

Placing an Order

All items are made to order. Whilst I endeavour to despatch items within 72 hours, please allow up to 14 days for your item to be despatched. If you require an item urgently, please contact me to ensure I can meet your deadline. Sadly, I can make no guarantees that items will arrive within a specified time-frame, but I will do my utmost to prioritise orders when needed.

If there is likely to be a delay in despatching your order, I will contact you and offer an alternative or a refund. During busy periods it is advisable to order as early as possible.

Item prices reflect the cost of materials. Customisation may incur an additional fee. Please contact me to discuss customisation of an existing design or a bespoke piece.

Whilst Poppy Sparkles Jewellery makes a lovely keepsake gift for a new baby, baptism or birthday, due to small components, pieces are not suitable for young children under 36 months. Please ensure that young children, over the age of 36 months, are supervised when wearing jewellery.

Payment

Payment is via paypal. You can still pay using a valid credit card even if you do not have a Paypal account.

Delivery

All items are sent by first class Recorded delivery. All jewellery is presented in a white organza bag with hand-punched confetti. Jewellery boxes can be purchased separately - ideal for creating the perfect gift.

Delivery to UK addresses is now FREE on all orders.

Mailing bags have a Poppy Sparkles branded sticker on, so if you need to sneak a Poppy Sparkles devliery past an unsuspecting recipient-to-be, please leave a note at checkout requesting non-branded packaging.

Poppy Sparkles is based in Lancashire, but handmade jewellery can be shipped worldwide.

Refunds, Returns and Repairs

I'm confident that you will love your Poppy Sparkles purchase, but should you wish to return an item for any reason, you will be offered a full refund (issued via paypal) on unworn items. A full refund is available for my 'off the peg' designs and those customised with your chosen colour.

BEFORE you return an item, please drop me a line within 7 days from receiving your order . When returning items, please ensure you use adequate packaging. I will refund the cost of your purchase and delivery, but the return postage will not be refunded.

If a mistake is made with your order, please contact me and this will be sorted immediately.

Bespoke commissions are subject to a non-refundable design fee. Completed pieces are non-returnable or refundable, but you will be able to opt out during the design process prior to work beginning on your piece should you decide not to proceed.

Occasional, there may be a fault with a component. Should a problem occur, other than normal wear and tear, please contact me and I will repair or replace. For damage caused by wear and tear, please contact me to discuss repair options.

Bespoke Design

Custom Design - if you would like an existing Poppy Sparkles design, but in your choice of colours or minor tweaks, the price will be inline with the orginal, taking into account the cost of any material upgrades.

Bespoke Design - A design fee of £10 is required to secure your totally bespoke design - this is non-refundable after a seven day cooling off period. Through consultation with you, we will decide upon a design. The final price of your piece will be based on the cost of materials and the amount of work involved. Totally bespoke jewellery designs are not eligible to be returned for a refund unless faulty. If you do not wish to proceed with your bespoke design, you may cancel your commission, forfeiting your £10 design fee.
